Full disclosure, I actually only read the first 2 stories and 1/4 of the 3rd they were all mediocre so I couldn’t make myself finish。
Molly Morris,
Don't bother with this compilation of long short stories。 I read the first and only book set in Palm Beach。 I wonder if it was the junior author's first attempt and Patterson didn't edit? I didn't bother reading the last 2 stories; I was so disappointed this wasn't a great mystery I could really stay up and read at night。 Don't bother with this compilation of long short stories。 I read the first and only book set in Palm Beach。 I wonder if it was the junior author's first attempt and Patterson didn't edit? Roger McGaffin,
Not a good book。; any of the stories。 Shallow characters and abrupt endings。 Spend your money on something else。 A rare stinker from JP。
Heidi Greenlee,
Not my favorite Patterson book
Jill,
I thought this was a fun collection of short stories。 It was a fun read that did not involve a lot of thinking。
Dawn,
I enjoyed the first and last story of this collection very much。 The second story just didn’t do it for me。
Denise Gyuricza,
Being an avid James Patterson book fan, I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this recently released book, The Palm Beach Murders。 By FAR, it is the worst book I have ever read。 The writing was poor and elementary。 The storyline was nonsensical, and abruptly ended JUST when there “might” have been a chance for this poorly constructed story to gain some steam。 Although a phenomenal success, James Patterson needs to rethink who he chooses to write his future books。 If his next book is as weak as this one Being an avid James Patterson book fan, I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this recently released book, The Palm Beach Murders。 By FAR, it is the worst book I have ever read。 The writing was poor and elementary。 The storyline was nonsensical, and abruptly ended JUST when there “might” have been a chance for this poorly constructed story to gain some steam。 Although a phenomenal success, James Patterson needs to rethink who he chooses to write his future books。 If his next book is as weak as this one, I will no longer be a fan for what is to come。 。。。more
Leigh,
Quit after the first few chapters。 The plot defies logic。 A rich privileged woman who thinks it's exciting to walk a $1000 check。。。 and maybe be arrested for a felony? That she's married to a billionaire and doesn't have the resources to hire a good divorce attorney? She must be the dumbest woman alive。。。 Patterson books can be entertaining。。 some even pretty darned good and well written。。 this isn't one of them。 It's a crap shoot。。。 Quit after the first few chapters。 The plot defies logic。 A rich privileged woman who thinks it's exciting to walk a $1000 check。。。 and maybe be arrested for a felony? Kim Johnson,
This book had Three novelettes and I preferred the last one。
Adria N。,
I love the stories but I am reducing my rating because I feel that there should have been some kind of warning that these stories are all previously published Bookshots with no new material。 Just a new title on the compilation。 Definitely deceptive。
Risa,
Terrible。 Expect so much better from him
Michelle,
Having already read The Palm Beach Murders as Let's Play Make Believe I only had Nooners and Stingrays to read。 In Nooners and Stingrays we find out secrets people keep (esp about murder) aren't kept for very long。 Most of the time it is the murderer them self that gives it away。 The number of people involved can be numerous but it all comes back to the one holding the weapon。 The last two were book shots I hadn't been able to get my hands on for a while。 I like the combining of them in one book Having already read The Palm Beach Murders as Let's Play Make Believe I only had Nooners and Stingrays to read。 In Nooners and Stingrays we find out secrets people keep (esp about murder) aren't kept for very long。 Most of the time it is the murderer them self that gives it away。 The number of people involved can be numerous but it all comes back to the one holding the weapon。 The last two were book shots I hadn't been able to get my hands on for a while。 I like the combining of them in one book。 It makes my life easier。 。。。more
Kimberly Hlavac,
The stories were good。 I did not realize this was a book with 3 short stories。
Glenna,

Sheldon,
The Third Bookshot was ok。 These were not my thing。
Maryloumailgmail。Com,
Three short stories。 Not my favorite。 I like just one story per book。 Not three short ones。 This was not made clear before I purchased it。
Judy Morris,
The book has 3 stories in it。 The first was kind of slow but watch for the ending wow。 The 2nd one was also good。 But the 3rd one will blow your socks off。
Miriam,
This book is actually a set of three short stories, all of which were hard to put down。 A fun, quick read。
Carole,
Ok, so this is three long short stories, none of which are very good, but all of which are readable。 There is only one 'Palm Beach Murder' -- the other murders are in Manhattan and in the Caribbean。I wonder why he churned this out, whether the co-authors needed some kind of a boost or what is the deal here -- these were pretty sloppily written but after reading the allegedly artsy hipster book that I read last (False Accounts), these were like a vacation。 Ok, so this is three long short stories, none of which are very good, but all of which are readable。 There is only one 'Palm Beach Murder' -- the other murders are in Manhattan and in the Caribbean。I wonder why he churned this out, whether the co-authors needed some kind of a boost or what is the deal here -- these were pretty sloppily written but after reading the allegedly artsy hipster book that I read last (False Accounts), these were like a vacation。 。。。more

Mary Kamrath,
This is a typical book of 3 murder mysteries set in the Caribbean and Florida。 Good stories and quick to read。
Penny Kinsella,
Not up to parReview contains spoilers。 First two stories were first person with that person wondering who done it。 But they did it。 Very poor twist。 Third story was good。
Dannette,
Did not care for the first 2 stories。 The third was just ok。
Edie Reynolds,
I did not know it was three stories in this book。 The stories were okay but not the best work by James Patterson。
James,
2。5
Susan Taylor,
3。5。 Living in Palm Beach County, was anxious to read the book of stories。 However, only the first one was in Palm Beach。 It got me, though; 2nd one, I figured out near the end! Would have been 4 stars, but the 3rd story was a dud。 Did not care for the narrator of the 3rd story either。
Linda Kosik,
Quick, easy read with each story having a twist。
kathleen Mattiace,
This was an interesting and entertaining read。Did the gal in the 1st story really get away with double murder?
Serena,
Was shocked it was 3 different rolled into this。 There was suspense and kept some intrest through it but struggled to keep at it。
nancy costa,
